Aviation security is a necessity for both passengers and employees. Government and industry need to cooperate to prevent, deter and respond to terrorist threats and other unlawful acts. This on-going threat means stakeholders must focus on the key risks and vulnerabilities to ensure the limited resources available are used as proficiently as possible.

The challenge for government and industry is to simultaneously address security, cost, and passenger needs. It is in this context that Aviation Business Asia Pacific magazine will once again host the annual Asia Pacific Airport & Aviation Security Summit.
