The Flight Test Society of Australia aims to promote the development of closer communication and understanding between all personnel and organisations having a specialist interest in the field of aeronautical research, development, test and evaluation.

The Society promotes technical advancement in the aerospace field by providing professional education through lectures, displays and presentations and by the exchange of information. The Society also promotes the advancement of flight safety by providing a forum for the expression of professional opinion on flight test activities in particular and flying operations in general.

The Symposium is held annually and brings together military, industry, airline and research personnel engaged in flight test activities. The Symposium programme will include a Keynote address, as well as a number of presentation sessions.
