Avalon in 2007 hosted 63 official delegations, 31 overseas military missions, 15 Air Force Chiefs from around the world, 14 Deputy Chiefs or Force Commanders, and many hundreds of senior military officers and defence officials from Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
