A CELEBRATION OF AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGY
Mankind has always been fascinated with the possibilities of flight and the mysteries of space.
From the earliest times, we have sought to understand the orbit of planets, the nature of stars, and the forces that drive our sun and moon. And from our very beginning, we have dreamt of soaring through the sky and traveling to the heavens.
2009 marks the 40th anniversary of the first manned mission to land on the moon. The Australian International Airshow will pay homage to that great event, and the Australian International Aerospace & Defence Exposition will highlight the future directions of aeronautical and aerospace technology.
As well as celebrating the ground-breaking technologies of that time, AVALON 2009 will also recognize the technical advances that have been made since then and the exciting potential offered by space exploration in the future.
From that first small step for man to the next giant leap in aviation and aerospace technology, the program for AVALON 2009 will be out of this world!
In March 2009, the Australian International Air Show will blast off Towards Tomorrow! |
