The Civil/Military Aviation Conference (CMAC), organized by the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA), is the world’s largest civil/military air traffic management summit, where senior civil and military leaders from throughout the world explore plans for civil and military collaboration. It regularly attracts military commanders and air forces’ chiefs of staff, directors of civil aviation, and heads of air navigation service organizations to focus on the latest developments and future directions in air traffic control. Historically, CMAC has attracted more than 300 key decision makers and other centers of influence from 50 nations.
As we continue to work collaboratively to solve issues in our respective national airspace, it is important for the world’s leaders in both civil and military air traffic control to come together and discuss common ground and best practices.
In previous years, CMAC has been held in locales as far-reaching as Prague, Czech Republic, and Bangkok, Thailand. This will be the 6th CMAC, taking place for the first time in Australia. ATCA look forward to making this a recurring event as it continues to grow in attendance and create further discussion in air traffic worldwide. |
