WELCOME
Welcome to the 2011 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition, one of the most exciting events ever staged at Avalon.
Avalon2011 will celebrate several military and commercial aviation milestones.
The Royal Australian Air Force, one of the oldest independent air forces in the world, will celebrate its 90th anniversary at Avalon.
The 2011 Airshow will also mark a major milestone in the event’s history. It will be the tenth event staged at Avalon Airport since the first airshow was held at the venue in 1992.
The birth of commercial aviation as we know it will also be recognised at Avalon2011. The event will celebrate the centenary of Australia’s first passenger flight.
