At the 2009 show, 599 exhibitor companies from 17 nations participated in the Aerospace and Defence Exposition.

The centerpiece of the exposition is an internal pavilion complex comprising three inter-connected exhibition halls housed in modern high-technology clear-span temporary structures.

The exhibition pavilion is supplemented by a range of external exhibition facilities, including free-standing display structures and outdoor exhibition space.

External areas are available for the presentation of aircraft, vehicles and other equipment.

INDOOR EXHIBITION SPACE (raw space)

Custom stands allow the exhibitor to design and build their stand to their own specifications. Lighting and electrical installations are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Raw space (bare flooring) only is provided. Minimum booking for custom stands is 36sqm and stand designs must be approved by the Organiser prior to the event. (Two-storey stands may be permitted at the discretion of the Organiser and, if approved, will incur an additional charge for the upper level)

Cost Ground floor space area - A$995 per sqm
(For two-storey stands, if approved, an extra cost of A$630 per sqm will apply to the upper level area)

WALL STANDS (shell scheme)

This option provides the exhibitor with a ready-built 9sqm (3m x 3m) shell scheme unit. It includes partitioned side and back melamine walls 2.5m high, fascia board with the company name facing the aisle, two spotlights, one 10amp power point and carpet. Furnishing of these stands is at the exhibitor’s expense.

EXHIBITION STUDIO

Exhibition Studios provide exhibitors with an up-market option for supplement external displays and each unit comes complete with timber decking and railing.

They are only available to exhibitors presenting external displays of aircraft or vehicles.  While Exhibition Studios may be located in the vicinity of related aircraft or vehicles on static display, studios with views of flying displays are not available.

Exhibition studios are available in four unit sizes (each with a deck area of 6m x 2.4m)

6m x 4.8m unit A$24,000 per unit (only single units available)
6m x 7.2m unit A$40,000 per unit (multiples available)
6m x 9.6m unit A$53,000 per unit (multiples available)
6m x 12m unit A$66,000 per unit (multiples available)

MINI DISPLAY CABIN

Mini Display Cabins are solid wall, free standing structures sold in conjunction with static displays that are not suitable for internal display.  Each Mini Display Cabin is provided as standard with lockable glass sliding door, two 10amp power points, one fluro roof light, flooring and company signage.

3m x 2.4m A$3,900 per cabin (shared dividing wall)
6m x 2.4 A$7,800 per cabin

OUTDOOR EXHIBITION (external raw space)

Outdoor space for free-standing exhibits. May be on grass, tarmac, or a combination as available. Power is available but not included.

Cost A$320 per sqm
Additional area for exhibitor supplied buildings. On grass, tarmac or a combination as available. Building must be approved by the Organiser.

Cost A$980 per sqm
(For two storey structures, if approved, an extra cost of A$600 per sqm will apply to the upper level area)

AIRCRAFT STATIC DISPLAYS

Depending on site conditions, aircraft static displays may, at the discretion of the Organiser, be supplemented by Mini Display Cabins or Exhibition Studios at an additional cost.  Exhibitor supplied structures are not permitted except with the prior consent of the Organiser.

External space is available for the presentation of aircraft on static display. Charges are based on aircraft empty weight.
