The Australian International Airshow 2011 will be conducted at Avalon Airport (YMAV).

For Avalon 2011, Avalon Airport may be referred to as Avalon Main and will have two available runways:

18/36 – a sealed runway 3048 metres in length
01/19 – a parallel 1400 x 30 metre grass runway (primarily for light aircraft) and associated taxiways located 800 metres west of 18/36 (to facilitate simultaneous VFR arrivals and departures when 18/36 is in use).

Access to Avalon Main will be restricted to participating (static and flying) display aircraft only. The only exceptions will be Charter Aircraft carrying exhibitor sponsored passengers from Tuesday 1 – Thursday 3 March 2011.

A helicopter complex consisting of a number of helipads and adjacent parking will be located south of the Expo site and approx 500 metres east of the main runway. Refer to the AIPSUP for further details.

All arrivals and departures to and from Avalon Main requires pre-registration. Please refer to the Participant Registration page for further details.
