The 2011 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition will turn the spotlight on the future
direction of defence capabilities.
For the first time at the event there will be a dedicated demonstration facility for unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned
ground vehicles and intelligence surveillance reconnaissance systems.
With defence forces around the world now using unmanned surveillance technology, Avalon 2011 will offer companies a
unique opportunity to showcase their capabilities on a national and international platform.
Airshow CEO Ian Honnery says the unmanned systems and IRS showcase and demonstration facility will enhance the
event’s reputation as one of the most comprehensive defence and aerospace industry expositions in the world.
