You must first register to be a volunteer at the Australian International Air Show 2009.

Upon receipt of your volunteer registration form, our Event Personnel Team will ensure your application is processed into our system and a letter of acknowledgment is sent.

All volunteers must be over the age of 18.

In accordance with changes to government legislation, the need to continually improve security and OH&S requirements your application will be subject to a police check and assessments on your abilities to safely and efficiently carry out your assigned task.

The role you are given as a volunteer will be based on your availability, areas of expertise and your preferred areas of work. The Event Personnel team will always endeavor to place you in a position that suits your experience and preferences, but with only limited places available you may not always be allocated a role of your first choice.

You will be notified of your assigned position within 6 weeks of applying and subsequent details will be sent to you regarding your access to the volunteer web portal, role, training, briefing sessions and uniform collection.

CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Upon your volunteer registration form being processed, a letter of confirmation will be sent to you either by email or in the mail (depending on your preferred means of receiving Airshow information), along with a log-in and password so that you may access the relevant information pertinent to your assigned role on the volunteer web portal.
