At the Australian International Airshow 2009, volunteer teams will be made up of the following:

SECTION LEADER
These volunteers manage a series of groups under an event area and reports to their Group Manager and/or Executive Manager.

TEAM LEADER
These volunteers manage one of the groups under an event area and reports to their Section Leader.

TEAM MEMBER
Performs the function of the event area and reports to their Team Leader.

AVAILABILITY
Section Leaders are required up to 12 days from Wednesday March 4 to Sunday March 15 2009 including pre-event Briefings.

Team Leaders are required up to 10 days from Friday March 6 to Sunday March 15 2009 including pre-event Briefings.

Team Members are required for a minimum of 3 consecutive days including Friday (13/3), Sat (14/3) and Sunday (15/3) plus pre-event Briefings. However, availability of 7 days would be an advantage.

Aircraft Ground Operations (AGO) - a minimum of 4 days including Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun plus pre-event briefings.

Event Transport - 7 days preferred (Mon-Sun) plus pre-event briefings.

Exhibition Operations - 7 days preferred (Mon-Sun) plus pre-event briefings.

TIME COMMITMENT
It is important that the time you commit to the event fits into your plans. When making your decision on when you are available, please give consideration to, what days are suitable and how many hours you want to give. This will ensure that you do not over commit your free time.

The minimum of 3 days will be required by all volunteers to participate. Depending on what area you are allocated this may increase. A commitment on your time is required to ensure the success of the area you have been assigned to.
